3DNA was cofounded by techies and dentists to create a source for 3rd party support and consulting when adopting in clinic dental 3D printing. Our passion for additive manufacturing runs deep, and not just in dental but this area has grown exponentially as its clinical applications have expanded. We believe that, especially with the highly filled ceramic composites that are now available, and FDA cleared for final restorations, there has never been a better time to get involved in the 3D printed prosthetic and restoration movement.

Having said that, we also have experienced the difficulty that beginning this journey represents, with so many companies and distributors competing for your business. so how do you choose?

We have struggled to land on any one answer and that is because it of course depends on what your unique goals are, and what resins and printers are currently but there are some workflows that are extremely expandable and can adapt to your needs moving forward. This often means working with a variety of equipment and resin manufacturers as opposed to an all-in-one solution we see so often today which of course translates to a need for ongoing remote or on-site support on an as needed basis.

Choosing a specific printing company and limiting ourselves to the resins compatible with that printer.
