Mini Scotch Brite Polishing Burs
Uses low speeds, around 5,000 rpm and light pressure the acrylic should not overheat due to friction. These brushes come in coarse, medium and fine to let you control the type of polishing finish you need.

Habras Disc Pro with Mandrel, Blue 400 Grit
Habras Discs provide the convenience of a pre-charged abrasive but do not generate the heat associated with rubber wheels. Embedded cubitron mineral abrasive is much harder than most metal. Removes oxides and polish without using compounds. Ideal for cleaning metal work and hard-to-reach areas. Ideal speed: 10,000 rpm.

Muslin Buffs
These Muslin Buffs are made of carefully selected material and each ply is a full cut. The uniform stitches will not pull out and long-lasting. Kit contants: One 4” × 42ply and one 5” × 45ply

Tripoli Polishing Compound
Tripoli Polishing Compound is great for removing scratches and preparation of denture materials and 3D resins. Also works well on metals prior to final polishing.

Hatho Beige Polishing Paste Bar
Designed for high shine polishing of acrylics, 3D resins and polymer based crowns and bridges. Initial surface must be prepared with a pre-polish pumice. Use with muslin, chamois, micro-fiber, leather flannel, or felt buffs.

High-Shine Cotton Buff Wheel

Casting Procedure and Recommendations

For best results Keystone recommends using Kerr “Satin Cast 20” or Ransom & Randolph “Ultra-Vest” investment material. This will ensure no adverse reactions between the casted part and investment material during the burnout process.

For best results, flasks should be vacuum or centrifuged to remove any air bubbles. Flasks should be bench cured for 2 hours prior to burnout.

Keystone recommends customers to allow >4mm of space between part edges and the outside edge of flask. This will ensure proper absorption of expansion during burnout.

Note: It is extremely important to hold the temperature ramp at 500°F (260°C) for at least one hour, depending on the flask size. This will ensure proper part dimensional stability.
